Boyd: In the business of farming since 1973. Member National Corn Growers Association and American Soybean Association. Serves on the BOD for Frontier Bank. He also serves as President of the Board of the start-up company Laurel BioComposite which processes DDG (dry distillers grain) into a resin-type material that can be blended with traditional plastics.
Val: Bookkeeper/Office Manager at Ebberson Farms. Masters In Business Administration from Wayne State College (2011).
Brandon: Partner at Ebberson Farms, LLC. Brandon graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012 with a degree in Diversified Agriculture. He was a member of AGR Fraternity in Lincoln. He’s putting in overtime as he’s faced with the challenges of a beginning farmer. Brandon is married to Morgan (Grosshans) an occupational therapist at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE. She graduated from the College of St. Mary in Omaha.
Cody: Cody and his wife, Reshma were co-founders of a medical imaging software company called Medxt that was acquired by Box.com in 2014. www.box.com/industries/healthcare-life-sciences. Cody graduated with a Masters in Business from Harvard Business School in 2009 and from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln JD Edwards Honors Program in Computer Science & Mgmt in 2004. Cody and Reshma Khilnani were married on July 11, 2009 in Palo Alto, CA. Reshma has her undergrad and graduate degrees from MIT. Previously they lived and worked in Seattle, Beijing, Boston, and Manila Philippines. They currently reside in San Francisco.
Laura (Sullivan): A lawyer currently working at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where she is partner working in the Corporate Group in New York. Her practice focuses on private equity investments and mergers and acquisitions. She graduated June 12, 2009 from the University of Chicago Law School. She completed her undergrad at Valparaiso University Christ College (Honors), Valparaiso, Indiana in May 2006 with a degree in English. Laura and Shawn O’Hargan were married on February 2017 in Miami, FL. Shawn is a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he works in the New York office and focuses on a variety of complex business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and restructurings. He has his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
